Controls and reagents
In the production of standards and controls, the interest of a robust storage solution free of the cold is to be found at several levels. Firstly, it avoids the risk of changes in the concentration of DNA and RNA induced by the lyophilization of the frozen samples, which is a crucial problem for quantitative standards. Then the possibility of maintaining the quality of the samples for a long-term storage makes it possible to produce large batches making it possible, on the one hand, to ensure a better homogeneity of the samples and, on the other hand, to limit the number of controls and so to limit the costs.
